Georgia Family Court Citizen Reform Summit

August 25, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Georgia Ethics Watchdogs is hosting this summit as a result of the outpouring of requests for help from across the state relating to potential family court corruption, or widespread judicial incompetency.

Register today by sending an email to JusticeForFultonFamilies@gmail.com – this summit is free and open to the public.

The goal of the summit is to identify common trends of corruption and incompetence in the Georgia Family Court System, then create and execute a game plan to reform the system through media and public attention, public policy changes and criminal prosecutions (where appropriate).

This summit will give you the opportunity to tell your story, which will help us identify common problems from around the state, seek solutions to the problems identified and offer trainings to assist with your case and file complaints against court officers to the appropriate agencies.

Please note, while there will be an opportunity to share your story (and/or hear from others), it unfortunately is not an opportunity for specific legal advise or assistance. It is our hope that gathering information from all, will help provide solutions for all. However, we can not assist on a case by case basis.

Further information will be provided by email, such as the event location and an agenda, which will include a session on pro se legal representation (a panel of family law attorneys offering general advice and answering questions) and a session on filing State Bar and Judicial Qualifications Commission complaints.

Please consider a donation to help with the success of this summit – http://gaethicswatchdogs.org/donate
